Terms of Service
Last updated July 13, 2026
These terms govern your access to and use of Rutba, including how you connect third-party services, how autonomous publishing works, and how responsibility for AI-generated content is allocated. Please read them carefully.
1. Who we are
Rutba is operated by Outworx for Web-Design (Sole Establishment), licensed by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) under trade license no. 1556815 (commercial register no. 1348414), based in the Emirate of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In these terms, "Rutba", "we", "us" and "our" refer to that entity, and "you" refers to the person or organization using the service.
2. Agreement to these terms
By accessing or using Rutba, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization, and "you" includes it. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use Rutba.
3. Definitions
Some terms used throughout this document:
- "Service" — the Rutba website, dashboard, API and related features.
- "Connected Service" — a third-party account you authorize us to access or act within, such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, or your CMS.
- "Your Content" — the sites, data, brand kits, prompts, drafts and other materials you provide or connect.
- "Output" — content and insights the Service generates for you, including articles and Proprietary Insight Objects.
- "Autonomy Mode" — the per-site setting that controls whether Rutba acts with your approval (supervised), on its own (autonomous), or not at all (paused).
4. The service
Rutba mines your first-party data for validated insights, generates and fact-binds content, publishes it to your Connected Services, and tracks rankings and AI-answer citations. Features depend on your plan and the services you connect.
We may add, change, or remove features over time, and we aim to give reasonable notice of material changes that adversely affect your use.
5. Accounts and security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information, keep it current, and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
6. Connected services and authorizations
When you connect a third-party service, you authorize Rutba to access data and take actions within it on your behalf — for example, reading analytics data and publishing content you approve.
You represent that you have the right and authority to connect each service and to grant these permissions, and that doing so does not breach any agreement or the third party's terms (including, where relevant, Google's API terms and your CMS's terms). Your use of Connected Services remains governed by those third parties' own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for their acts, availability or changes.
7. AI-generated content
The Service uses artificial intelligence to produce Output. AI systems can generate content that is inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable. Our fact-bind gate is designed to hold unsourced or contradicted claims for review, but it is a safeguard, not a warranty of accuracy.
You are responsible for reviewing, validating and ensuring the legal compliance of any Output before it is published or relied upon, particularly where content is published autonomously. As between you and us, you own the Output for your permitted use; we assign to you any rights we may have in it, subject to your compliance with these terms. We cannot guarantee that Output is unique or that similar content will not be independently generated for others.
8. Autonomous actions and your responsibility
If you enable autonomous mode, Rutba may publish content and take related actions without prior approval for each one. You choose and control the Autonomy Mode per site, and you remain responsible for all content published to your properties, whether approved manually or published automatically.
We provide transparency and control tools — an audit log of actions and one-click undo where available — but you are responsible for monitoring your sites and reversing or correcting actions you do not want.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Publish unlawful, infringing, defamatory, deceptive or harmful content, or content that violates a third party's rights.
- Generate spam, or engage in manipulative or deceptive practices that violate search engines' or platforms' guidelines.
- Misrepresent authorship or identity, or produce content intended to deceive people or automated systems.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract the models, prompts or training data behind the Service, or circumvent its security or usage limits.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, or use it to build a competing product.
- Violate the terms of any Connected Service or applicable law, including data-protection and intellectual-property laws.
10. Your content and data license
You retain all ownership of Your Content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit and display Your Content, and to access and act within your Connected Services, solely as needed to provide and improve the Service and to publish content on your behalf.
You are responsible for having the rights necessary to grant this license and for the legality of Your Content and of the data you connect.
11. Our intellectual property
The Service, including its software, models, methodology (such as our insight-validation and fact-bind processes), design and trademarks, is owned by us and our licensors and is protected by law. Except for the rights expressly granted to you, we reserve all rights. You may not use our name or marks without our prior written permission.
12. Fees, billing and trials
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment provider. Fees are exclusive of taxes, which you are responsible for. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable, and downgrading or cancelling does not entitle you to a refund for the current period.
Free trials, where offered, convert to a paid plan only if you choose to subscribe. We may change pricing with reasonable prior notice, effective from your next billing cycle.
13. No guarantee of results
Search rankings, traffic, AI citations and the avoidance of search-engine penalties depend on the algorithms and decisions of third parties — including Google and AI answer engines — that we do not control and that change without notice.
Accordingly, we do not guarantee any specific ranking, traffic level, citation, revenue or other outcome, and nothing in the Service or our marketing should be read as such a guarantee.
14. Third-party services
The Service integrates with and depends on third-party platforms and AI providers. We are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, changes or acts, and your use of them is subject to their own terms. Disruptions or changes to a third-party service may affect the Service.
15. Disclaimers
The Service and all Output are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that Output will be accurate or reliable.
16. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business, arising out of or relating to the Service or these terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service or these terms will not exceed the amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits apply even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
17. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, your Connected Services, or your breach of these terms or of applicable law.
18. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access, with or without notice, for breach of these terms, to comply with law, to prevent harm or abuse, or to protect the Service or other users.
On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we may delete Your Content in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
19. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the product or by email, and the effective date above will be revised. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
20. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the applicable federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. The courts of the Emirate of Dubai, United Arab Emirates have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or relating to them, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights available to you where you live.
21. General
These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any plan-specific terms, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Neither party is liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
